You realize most of the adult population was raised in a home were the spankings were given when needed, our parents lived under a more disciplined rule. Now we have never lived in a crime free environment but you have to admit it's not getting better. Take a look at some of the crimes committed on the news. Can you believe that teenagers and young adults are committing these acts? It's just to the point were we as people of the world need to be prepared for anything, take care of our families, loved ones and friends. I for one want to stay one step ahead if I can. Being involved with the survival community makes me very happy and I learn from it everyday. I live a normal productive life, but yes I am the kind of guy that has survival kit and a handful of the basics. I am not fanatical about it,but i do want to have what I need in case of a disaster or a break in.
