Global Areas?

    Where exactly are the "global" areas on the minecraft pokefind server? I wish to catch a Pikachu and I heard that they are most common in these areas. If someone could please clarify this for me, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Pikachu can be found in Amp or Chromium on Gen 1, and I'm assuming that whomever said that it was global areas mean that it's a town or a usually populated place.
