Hi, As mentioned in the title, my Minecraft client stops responding after it has downloaded the resource pack fully. Just as a confirmation, the downloaded file starts with "9c503c5...". What I've done: 1.) Starting from v1.12, toggled "Server Resource Packs: Enabled" from the server screen 2.) Right clicked compass to enter Pokemon hub of server 3.) Waited for download of file to reach 100% (8.3MB). Client stops responding here. 4.) Closed the window using task manager. Deleted the folder from .minecraft called "server-resource-packs" 5.) Installed latest optifine version for v1.12. Repeat steps 1 to 4. I have repeated steps 1 to 5 using versions 1.11.2, 1.11, 1.10.2, and 1.10 instead. I have also tried deleting my .minecraft folder as recommended by various posts found on the server. My input for JVM arguments for all profiles is: -Xmx4G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn128M as I want to allocate 4GB of ram out of my 8GB to MC. Please advise what else can I do, or if I am missing any important step to play in the server (e.g. linking my MC account to my forum username as some games/servers outside Minecraft do). I could provide screenshots/a video of what happens if necessary.
I've tried it again and still doesn't work. I've noticed that my task managers says that MC Memory usage is capped at approx. 1GB. Do you have a way to expand how much memory my computer allows MC to use? Screenshot of my Debug info in MC and Memory usage for MC in my task manager:
When i tried the server it didn't let me on it would time out or connection would fail. But today I installed OptiFine and now the server runs like a dream other than in Finderia Town, But at least the server works. P.S. I only did this in 1.12 but I don't know why it wouldn't work in other versions. Hope this helps
Hello Everyone it seems i have the same problem. I followed the instructions, and minecraft keeps on "Not Responding". Would someone help me out?
