I have a pokemon that from what I know will evolve automatically from levels. Is there a way I can prevent this? Or does evolution work differently in this? I started recently so yeah.
Hi there! There are two different options to prevent your pokemon from evolving. When your pokemon reaches whatever required level it needs to evolve, you will get a screen prompting you to either accept or decline its evolution. If you do not want it to evolve, you can simply select the decline option (side with red glass panes) and it will not evolve. Your other option would be to get an everstone and have your pokemon hold it. If your pokemon is holding an everstone it will not evolve regardless of it reaching the level needed for evolution or any level beyond that. You can obtain one in any breeding shop across the generations. Hope that helps!
