Game Freezes from Resource Pack

Plz help, whenever I join the server and I click yes for resource Pack, the game freezes for a very long time and I have to restart my laptop every time it does it! Does anyone have any solutions for this problem? I just want to try out the server!

 

I really need some help, I tried asking discord but no one but 2 people tried to help me! Some solutions they gave we were re-installing Minecraft and putting the server settings to prompt for the resource pack, but they were no success!

I tried doing everything on that page in the past, but it wouldnt work with another problem from the past

 

What version of Minecraft are you trying this on?

 

1.12 with Optifine

 

It seems like Minecraft doesn't have enough space to download the resource pack which is why it keeps freezing, have you tried to add more RAM?

 

To Minecraft? If thats what you mean, then i have tried allocating more ram minecraft and it does the same thing! I have 4 RAM on my laptop

 

Now I tried going into 11.2 but it does the same thing as well!!!

 

What version of Minecraft are you on?
We support 1.10+ but we recommend 1.10.2 or 1.11.2 try those first and if they dont work we can move on
Here are some ways to fix the Texture Pack timing you out:

2.) Try dedicating more ram to your Minecraft
3.) Deleting the whole .minecraft folder


I recommend trying 1.10.2 if you already tried 1.11.2

 

It isn't timing me out, it just freezes the game and says game not responsive for a long time and not letting me play so I just restart my laptop every time it does this!
UsedData, like I said before, I tried those solutions in the past but were not successful. But I will try to use 1.10.2 and see if it helps!

 

You tried deleting the entire .minecraft folder?

 

Tried going into 10.2, but no success! I guess i'lll never try out the server now... ☹☹☹

How long do you wait when its freezing

 

I wait like 5-6 min before restarting my laptop

 

How much ram are you dedicating to MC?

 

I have 4 ram on my laptop rn, but i have 1 ram allocated in Minecraft as default if thats what you mean!
